About the Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin 45 ACP Semi-Auto Pistol

Overview

The Springfield 1911 Ronin 45 ACP Semi-Auto Pistol With 4.25 Inch Barrel represents a refined convergence of classic 1911 ergonomics and modern manufacturing precision. Chambered in .45 ACP, this semi-auto pistol features a forged carbon steel slide and frame, finished with a two-tone blued slide and stainless steel frame for corrosion resistance and visual contrast. The 4.25-inch barrel provides a balanced profile between concealability and sight radius, while the forged barrel and machined feed ramp ensure reliable chambering across a variety of factory ammunition. This pistol is a direct reflection of Springfield Armory’s commitment to the 1911 platform, incorporating a forged slide stop, hammer, sear, and thumb safety.

Who It's For

This pistol is designed for the shooter who values the traditional 1911 platform but demands modern manufacturing tolerances and corrosion resistance. It suits experienced shooters seeking a carry-grade .45 ACP with a balance of weight and barrel length for both range work and defensive use. The 4.25-inch barrel length offers a practical compromise for those who carry strong-side or appendix but do not wish to sacrifice sight radius or muzzle velocity. It is also appropriate for collectors who appreciate the two-tone aesthetic and the forged internals that distinguish this model from entry-level 1911s. The springfield 1911 ronin 45 acp semi-auto pistol with 4.25 inch barrel is a purpose-driven tool for the informed handgunner.
