Product Overview

The CZ 75 SP-01 9mm is a full-size, steel-framed service pistol designed for the serious shooter who demands reliability and precision. Built on the legendary CZ 75 platform, this model incorporates modern duty-ready features without compromising the classic ergonomics that have made CZ a favorite among competitive shooters, law enforcement, and discerning firearm enthusiasts. With its 4.6" cold hammer-forged barrel, 19+1 round capacity, and robust steel construction, the SP-01 is engineered for sustained, accurate fire. Its primary uses span from dynamic range sessions and practical shooting competitions to a dependable role in home defense. This is a handgun for those who appreciate a solid, all-metal frame, a superb out-of-the-box trigger, and a design proven in real-world conditions.

Key Features

• Steel Frame & 4.6" Cold Hammer-Forged Barrel: The full-steel frame provides exceptional durability and mass, which significantly mitigates felt recoil and muzzle rise for faster follow-up shots. The cold hammer-forged barrel ensures superior accuracy, longevity, and consistent performance round after round.
• Enhanced Capacity & Ergonomics: Ships with two 19-round magazines, offering substantial firepower. The grip angle and contour are modeled after the original CZ 75, widely regarded as one of the most naturally pointing and comfortable handguns ever made.
• Fixed 3-Dot Night Sights: Equipped with high-visibility tritium night sights for rapid target acquisition in all lighting conditions. The sights are dovetailed into the slide for a secure, low-profile fit.
• Integral 1913 Accessory Rail: A machined Picatinny rail integrated into the dust cover allows for the secure mounting of tactical lights or lasers, making the SP-01 ready for defensive or duty configurations.
• Single/Double Action Operation: Offers the flexibility of a double-action first shot for a longer, deliberate trigger pull, followed by crisp, short-reset single-action shots. The manual safety allows for cocked-and-locked carry.
• Corrosion-Resistant Black Polycoat Finish: This durable, matte finish provides excellent protection against the elements and holster wear, ensuring the pistol maintains its appearance and function under hard use.

Performance & Applications

Practical/Competition Shooting: The CZ 75 SP-01 is a dominant force in production division competitions. Its heavy steel frame tames 9mm recoil, the excellent trigger promotes precise shot placement, and the high magazine capacity reduces reload stages. The natural pointability and night sights allow shooters to transition between targets quickly and consistently, directly translating to competitive success.

Home Defense & Duty Readiness: The combination of reliability, high capacity, and accessory rail makes the SP-01 a serious tool for defensive scenarios. The night sights are critical for low-light identification, and the pistol's proven track record of feeding various ammunition types reliably is paramount. Its weight, while substantial, contributes to a stable shooting platform during high-stress situations.

Advanced Training & Skill Development: As a full-size, all-metal handgun with a refined trigger, the SP-01 provides excellent feedback to shooters looking to improve their fundamentals. The consistent trigger press in single-action mode is ideal for practicing accuracy, while the double-action pull helps master trigger control.
