About the Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR Lever-Action Rifle

The Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR lever-action rifle with gold receiver and hardwood stock is a head-turner that combines classic lever-action feel with the affordability of .22 LR. Whether you are teaching a new shooter, plinking in the back forty, or just want something that looks as good as it shoots, this rifle delivers a satisfying, low-recoil experience. The polished gold receiver pops against the deep hardwood stock, giving you a piece that feels both vintage and fresh out of the box. Chambered in 22 LR, it cycles everything from bulk-pack ammo to precision rounds without fuss, and the lever action is smooth right from the first throw.

Overview

Rossi built the Rio Bravo to bridge the gap between nostalgia and practicality. The Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR lever-action rifle with gold receiver and hardwood stock is a lightweight, 18-inch barreled carbine that holds 15 rounds in the tubular magazine. The gold anodized receiver is the standout feature here—it is not just cosmetic; it resists corrosion and stands up to sweat and weather. The hardwood stock is full-size but the rifle balances well in hand, making it easy to carry all day on a walk through the woods. If you have ever wanted a lever gun that does not break the bank or your shoulder, this is it.

Features & Specs

• Action: Smooth, straight-back lever action with a crisp trigger break. The throw is short enough for rapid fire but deliberate enough to keep you honest.
• Receiver and Finish: Gold anodized receiver with a matte black barrel and magazine tube. The gold finish is even and bright, and the hardwood stock has a satin lacquer that shows the natural grain.
• Sights: Fiber optic front sight with a brass bead and an adjustable rear buckhorn. Easy to pick up in low light, and the gold receiver actually helps with target acquisition by drawing your eye down the barrel.
• Capacity and Caliber: .22 LR, 15-round tubular magazine. Loads through a side gate or by removing the inner tube—your choice.
• Safety: Cross-bolt safety located at the trigger guard. Simple, positive, and easy to reach without breaking your grip.
• Weight and Length: Weighs just 4.8 pounds, with an overall length of 36 inches. Ideal for smaller shooters or anyone who wants a lightweight truck gun.

Who It Is For

This rifle is perfect for the shooter who appreciates classic lines but needs a practical, everyday firearm. If you are introducing a new shooter to firearms, the Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR lever-action rifle with gold receiver and hardwood stock is forgiving on recoil, simple to operate, and looks cool enough to keep their attention. It also fits the experienced plinker who wants a reliable .22 for cheap range practice or small-game hunting. The gold receiver adds a touch of class without making it a safe queen—this gun is meant to be shot, not just displayed. If you own a lever-action centerfire, this is the perfect companion for low-cost training and fun.
