About the Henry H1 X Model Rifle

The Henry H1 X Model Rifle represents a modern take on classic rimfire reliability, engineered to deliver consistent accuracy across multiple calibers. As a lever-action platform engineered by Henry Repeating Arms, this firearm bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary shooting needs. Whether you are targeting small game or honing marksmanship fundamentals, the Henry H1 X Model Rifle offers a robust foundation for demanding shooters.

Overview

The Henry H1 X Model Rifle is chambered in .22 S/L/LR and .22 Magnum, giving shooters the flexibility to transition between subsonic, standard, and magnum loads without requiring a secondary firearm. Its lever-action mechanism provides smooth cycling, while the blued steel barrel and American walnut stock maintain the aesthetic quality Henry Repeating Arms is known for. The rifle is designed for reliability across diverse conditions, from range sessions to field use.

Features & Specs

  • Caliber compatibility: .22 S/L/LR and .22 Magnum (interchangeable cylinder system)
  • Barrel length: 20 inches, rifled steel with a 1:16 twist rate
  • Overall length: 38.5 inches, weight approximately 6.5 pounds
  • Magazine capacity: 15 rounds (LR) or 12 rounds (Magnum)
  • Stock: American walnut with cut checkering and a rubber buttpad

The Henry H1 X Model Rifle features a side-gate loading system, allowing quick reloads without removing the tubular magazine. The hammer is equipped with a transfer bar safety mechanism, and the trigger breaks cleanly at approximately 4.5 pounds. Chrome-plated bolt and internal components resist corrosion, while the blued finish protects against rust in humid environments.

Who It's For

The Henry H1 X Model Rifle is built for three primary user profiles: small game hunters who require multiple caliber options for varying game sizes, recreational shooters seeking a durable lever-action platform for high-volume plinking, and collectors who value the craftsmanship of Henry Repeating Arms while wanting a functional, modern rifle. Its .22 LR chambering makes it suitable for teaching new shooters due to low recoil, while the .22 Magnum capability extends its utility for predator control and longer-range varmint hunting. Law enforcement and security professionals may also find the rifle useful for training or precision pest management.

Because the Henry H1 X Model Rifle accommodates both standard and magnum ammunition, it eliminates the need to purchase separate rifles for different rimfire loads. This versatility reduces overall cost and storage requirements, making it a practical choice for shooters who prioritize efficiency.
