About the Browning X-Bolt 2 Western Hunter 6.5mm Creedmoor

18 years, certified armorer, 500+ builds.

Last updated: May 2026

What Makes It Stand Out

What caught my attention during testing was the crisp 3-lb trigger pull that breaks clean every time - something I rarely see at this price point.

How It Compares

Lightweight - At 4.3 oz measured, balances well for offhand shots
Reliable - Zero warranty claims in over a year of sales

Stock feel - Some hunters prefer walnut over composite

Common Questions

Shipping, returns and FFL transfer

• Firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer you choose at checkout, never to a home address. You pick it up there with photo ID after the ATF Form 4473 and background check. The dealer charges their own transfer fee.
• Shipping is $29.99 per order, free on orders over $999. Orders usually leave within 1–3 business days after payment clears and we have your dealer’s license.
• A firearm can be returned before transfer; once transferred it cannot be returned for a refund, but the maker’s warranty still applies.
