About the Apex Optic Mount for FNX-45 - ACRO/MPS* Optics
The Apex Optic Mount for FNX-45 - ACRO/MPS* Optics is a steel billet plate that bolts directly to your factory FNX-45 Tactical slide, giving you a rock-solid base for closed-emitter pistol dots like the Aimpoint ACRO P-1/P-2, Steiner MPS, or Lead & Steel Pandora PB-3.
Key Features
- Steel billet construction – Why it matters: The factory plate is polymer; a steel plate eliminates flex and keeps your zero locked in under recoil or if the gun takes a hard knock.
- Black oxide finish – Why it matters: Corrosion resistance and a low-glare surface that won’t reflect light when you’re in a dark room or behind cover.
- Direct factory slide mount – Why it matters: No slide milling required – just remove the factory plate, drop this in, torque the included screws, and you’re ready to run.
- Closed-emitter optic compatibility – Why it matters: ACRO, MPS, and Pandora optics keep debris, rain, and mud off the lens – a must for a duty or survival pistol that might get dropped in dirt.
Who It’s For
This mount is for FNX-45 Tactical owners who want to ditch the factory plastic optic plate and run a rugged closed-emitter dot. If you’re setting up a nightstand gun, a truck gun, or a backup for three-gun matches, this is the piece that keeps your Aimpoint ACRO or Steiner MPS planted where it belongs.
Pros & Cons
- Pro: Includes mounting screws – no hunting for the right thread pitch.
- Con: Fits FNX-45 Tactical models only – won’t work on standard FNX-45 or FNS slides.
